Spring Fishing

April 8, 2011 by laredfish

Well spring is finally here in full swing. All big fish are still here just harder to see because of the decline in water quality due to spring run off in the North. We are still fishing in Very Clear water with lots of aquatic growth. Fish size to 12 lb with numbers. Best day in April so far is 19 boated and we threw at 32 targets. Probably say 75 fish.

Several Things are getting ready to happen this summer. Number one, we are about to start Tarpon Season in May June July. I have a few days in May and July that I need to fill. Also the fly tackle retailer show is  coming to New Orleans in August 19-21. We have several Guest Guides coming with their skiffs so if you want to get on the water during after or before let me know so I can get you set.

Thanks to the many anglers that have been fishing this fall and winter we really have had a great year.
