Louisiana Lodging

If you are fishing 2 or more days, lodging and meals are included in your trip fees. Our lodging packages are based on a 2-day minimum, and include: room (prices based on double occupancy) and 3 meals (breakfast, boat lunch). Exact room features and meal plans depend on the facility.  Lodging will be at the LookOut Inn or the Cajun Fishing Adventures FlyHouse.

The Look Out Inn is a great bed-an-breakfast located near the banks of the Mississippi River. It is a classic New Orleans turn-of-the-century home, and gets its name from WWI, when the building was commandeered by the US Navy as a lookout for submarines in the Mississippi River. A makeshift ladder still exists in front of the top-rear attic window from that time period. It’s a fun place to stay, as each room is decorated for a specific theme, including an Elvis Suite.

Cajun Fishing Adventures FlyHouse offers 4-star accomodations in a quiet, private setting.

If you are only going to fish one day, we recommend the Queen and Crescent Hotel, or The Victorian House, both in New Orleans.

Crescent

The Queen and Crescent is located in the heart of the Central Business District and just steps from the French Quarter, the Queen & Crescent Hotel was originally built in 1913 to house the corporate headquarters of the newly formed Queen & Crescent Railroad. The Queen & Crescent Building enjoys the honor of being designated a Historic Landmark in the Picayune Place Historic District by the Historic District Landmarks Commission.

The Victorian House is an elegant, newly-restored 110-year old Victorian townhouse located in the heart of the French Quarter. All of their rooms are Victorian in feel, and modern in comforts. Historic architectural elements abound, with 12 foot ceilings, large windows, mantles, clawfoot tubs, plaster ceiling medallions, period furniture, and Persian rugs. Along with the sense of history, you will enjoy the comforts of the present, with cable equipped flat-screen tv’s in each room, dvd-ready. The beds are all made with 300+ thread count 100% cotton sateen sheets. All rooms are conditioned with central heat and air, making your stay the perfect combination of past and present luxury. Mention Capt. Arnold’s name while booking your stay, and receive a 30% discount!

Please note: We no longer recommend the Woodland Plantation.
